Industrial Lift Equipment
Question: Who do feel about a Company that Fires a Supervisor for Calling OHSA for Unsafe working conditions? After;
1) Complaining for almost to years to upper management of the very Real Damage to over 125 racking uprights,
2) Chronic Blockage ot the Emergency Shower by the Industrial Lift equipment charging area,
3) No Training or discipline of the employee's who regularly Violate Safety Rules?
(I do have a Lawyer, and I have filed a Complaint with BOLI
(Bureau Of Labor and Industry)
I did make the call annominessly, In their depo on my workers Comp claim, (I was injured), they claim that; "I Staged, the accident to prove my point." and accuse me of Lying about having Cancer. Even though on my Application, I had Disclosed of having a Tumor removed 2 months prior to them hiring me.
Bluefoot, Do you always put Profits ahead of the Safety of your Employee's who Make you the Money?
Big Wet Kiss, Bunny!
And one for you too, Blue!
kb8, I'll just shake your hand as you are not my type. Thank you for your support!
Answer: I am a Union worker in a dangerous working environment. I applaud your efforts and am sorry you were hurt. I have to work injured a lot. (1 broken finger and 2 broken ribs this year...)
As a Union member I do not have to worry about the company getting mad when I Bi+ch anymore...I have made them millions over the years, but I feel for the younger workers who do not have the cohones or perhaps the track record that allows them to speak. So I speak for them if it is a legitimate safety problem. No sweat off my brow.
Besides it saves the company LOTS of money and they have started to view it that way in the last few years. Maybe they hired some smarter bean counters that look at the "time lost" and insurance costs...Probably.
I put Profits right up there with Safety and any yahoo who says they are separate hasn't been around much in the construction arena...Even 20 years ago I had "accidentally" read a confidential report that showed my company was spending over a million bucks a year on just L and I injuries! That is not chump change. They are much, much better now. (Only the broken finger had to do with company negligence...the ribs were from regular work activities and risk)
Progress can only happen with a sort of partnership between labor and management. Point out the ways both will prosper (ie the bottom line and the workforce) Tough going but worth it.

Answer: Hello there you have some very good work experience. However, you need to have someone help you polish your resume. Maybe you can go to an employment agency. Not only is the service free, they will send you on job interviews. When employers see you they know you are qualified for the position or you would not be there so you have a greater chance of getting hired.
All the best in your job search. I work from home. If you would like to know what I am doing shoot me an email so I can learn more abut you and share my information.

Answer: The key to a really good resume is its gotta be short, breif and well presented, because you have pasted it on yahoo answers i cant see how you would present it in word document, umm i put mine in a table but obviously edited it, hide the table, basically when presenting it you gotta fiddle with it around but never put fancy writing just put normal font but change the sizes, employers never spend a lengthy time on a resume the just brisk through it. Include interests and if your going for a clerical job then add a cover letter i have put the link down for you to see what a cover letter looks like, include all your certificates, reference letters if you can, employers might not spend a lot of time through it but when they brisk though it they will be impressed by the more scanning they doin an interveiw. Another thing to make it look really professional get those folders with the leather cover you can get them usually in any office store, that is for the interveiw. Dont freak out remember , <-- short, breif and well presented--->, best of luck
Question: Office hazards? I am working as an office administrator for an industrial company that caters for a wide range of industrial, automotive, and domestic needs. My office is located inside the workshop area and I am having trouble dealing with 3 major problems regarding the safety hazards in the office. These are :
1 Manual Handling - most of handling is done by lifting due to not enough room to use the equipment that are provided.
2 Noise - hard to hear customers on the phone
3 Carpet Floor - must change it as its not suitable for an industrial company.
I need to give examples on how I could improve this Office hazards in my job?. I shall pick the best answer with more information provided. Thank you

As for the noise, recommend double insulating by thickening the walls or adding a second wall both with insulation.
As for carpeting I think you can locate that part.
Question: What might this dream be telling me? I was driving home on a road I normally take coming back from a neighboring city. There was this large truck ahead of me. It looked like an industrial tow truck and had a tire suspended in the air from a pulley on the back of it. The tire alternately kept lifting and descending, swaying all around, so I didn't want to get too close. Then, I looked up and saw that there was some type of tractor or construction equipment dangling from the pulley almost above my car so I dropped back further. Next thing I know, the entire front of the tow truck burst into flames. There were a lot of cars lined up on the road and people were getting out of their cars to see what happened. I was in shock and was horrified by what just happened. Then, I noticed another motorist, some nondescript guy, who seemed happy about it and was smiling. That is when I woke up.
I'm sure my dream is telling me something, but I'm not sure what. I've had similar dreams where I've narrowly escaped being in danger or harm's way.
I don't watch the kind of TV shows that would have things like this happen in them. Also, I have had similar dreams to this before.
Answer: In life, you took a familiar road and it ended up being full of obstacles, anyway. What you thought was rock-steady and stable (truck=marriage), burst into flames. You thought you were buying into a predictable reality, but you got quite the opposite.
The lack of stability could also be represented in a man with a short fuse, who gets pleasure from causing turmoil. Thus the laughing man.
Question: What is the salary of a Coca Cola order builder? This is the description.....

Adhere to good manufacturing practices and safety standards.
Responsible for meeting productivity requirements.
Stage completed pallets in designated area.
Answer: About $17K per year.
